For Providers: Help Patients Move Forward with Ketamine Therapy

New Options for Patient Mental Wellness

We're with you every step of the way. From your first consultation to your final treatment, our compassionate team provides personalized care in a safe, comfortable environment.

Our Treatment Options

We offer two main ketamine treatment options to help with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain conditions.

Our team will help determine which option is best for your unique situation.

IV Ketamine Based Therapies

IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy & Spravato (Esketamine)

This treatment delivers ketamine directly into your bloodstream through an IV in a comfortable, controlled setting. Each session lasts about 40-60 minutes, with patients typically receiving 4-6 treatments over 2-3 weeks. Many patients report significant improvement after just a few sessions.

Important to know: IV Ketamine therapy is currently a covered treatment option through the VA for veterans enrolled in the community care program. IV Ketamine therapy is not currently covered by insurance since it's considered an off-label use. We offer self-pay rates, and payment plans to make this treatment accessible to Iowans. IV Ketamine therapy is currently a covered treatment option through the VA for veterans enrolled in the community care program.

Ultrasound-Guided Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB)

Targeted Care for Trauma-Related Symptoms

Ultrasound-guided SGB is a non-surgical intervention designed to calm the sympathetic nervous system in patients with PTSD and severe anxiety. By reducing physiologic hyperarousal, SGB may offer rapid symptom relief when other approaches have been insufficient. All procedures emphasize safety, precision, and collaboration with the referring provider.

Ready to Refer Your Patients For Ketamine or Esketamine Therapy?

At Iowa Ketamine Clinic, we are an open referral clinic for all psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, psychiatric Physician Assistants, and primary care providers. We are dedicated to providing access to ketamine/esketamine therapy for your patients in a safe and controlled environment. Please complete the referral form located on this page and fax it back to our clinic. Our staff will contact your patient within 1 week to establish their initial consultation.

Once a patient has been selected for treatments, we will notify you of the patient’s plan of care. While our clinic will provide ketamine/esketamine therapy, your patient will continue to follow up with your practice for their ongoing mental health care.
